Championing Leadership Mental Wellness
Supporting leaders to prevent burnout and isolation
The Feroce Foundation
The Feroce Foundation was established by Giovanni Feroce to confront a quiet but deeply troubling crisis in American leadership: the overwhelming stress, mental health challenges, and rising suicide rates among senior-level executives in both corporate and military spheres. This foundation is the first of its kind to squarely address this issue—not as a fringe concern, but as a fundamental threat to the well-being of our nation’s most responsible leaders.
Feroce, drawing from personal experience and reflection, understands the crushing weight placed on those at the top. These individuals—CEOs, C-suite executives, generals, admirals, and senior administrators—shoulder extraordinary responsibility for the lives and livelihoods of others. Yet far too often, their own mental and emotional needs are overlooked or misunderstood.
These leaders frequently become targets of sensationalist media coverage, distorted narratives, and click-driven journalism that omits truth in favor of drama. False or exaggerated stories can shatter reputations and compound the already immense burden they carry. What the public rarely sees is the toll this takes: the private suffering, the sleepless nights, the quiet despair.
The Feroce Foundation stands to say: suicide is not the answer. There is help. There is hope. And most importantly, there is honor in the difficult path of leadership.
Our mission is to provide the resources, community, and support systems senior leaders need—not just to survive, but to thrive.
This is not just about crisis management. It is about shifting the cultural narrative to celebrate those who lead with integrity, to recognize their sacrifices, and to create an ecosystem of respect and support. The Feroce Foundation will champion positive stories, offer confidential wellness initiatives, and ensure that no leader—corporate or military—ever feels alone.
Because behind every great company, every strong institution, and every resilient community, there is someone who bears the burden.
It is time we take care of them too.
